Decks By Vets LI

Decks by Vets built us a large covered deck. I can only call it a masterpiece. Their craftsmanship, professionalism, honesty and pricing is second to none. I could not imagine using anyone else.

We’ve had Decks by Vets do several projects at our house from a complete backyard redo to replacing doors and installing banisters, and every job has been above expectations. The care and detail they put into the work is second to none. They listen to our ideas, make thoughtful and intelligent suggestions, work neatly and professionally and complete the job on time. You will not find a better company for your home improvement projects no matter how big or small.

Couldn’t be happier with how our porch came out. Decks by Vets did an awesome job. The owners were great to work with, easy to communicate with, and always responsive. They were efficient and quick with the project and the quality of their work really shows. We have gotten so many compliments on the porch and we highly recommend this company to do anyone’s deck/porch. The whole process was easy from start to finish and they were very professional.

My experience with Decks by Vets could not have been better! I used Decks by Vets after recommendation from a family member who had a deck and backyard work done by them, which turned out incredible. The team, led by John, built us an amazing shed. He worked with me personally on planning every detail and kept me apprised at every step of the project. He made excellent recommendations about how best to ensure the shed is near indestructible. The team was quick, clean, and courteous for the few days they were here. I would highly recommend them for any project you are considering.

These guys were extremely knowledgeable and professional. The deck they did at my house couldn’t have come out better, looks and construction wise. I’d bet you could land a plane on it and it wouldn’t budge.

Decks by Vets completely renovated our 1800 sq ft basement following a flood. Flooring, ceiling, Sheetrock, plumbing framing and electrical was all replaced. They worked quickly efficiently with great attention to detail. Their prices were fair, and the owner John, worked with a difficult insurance company to get us maximum reimbursement. We are very satisfied with the outcome.

Just used decks by vets to reinforce my wobbly deck. They came the next day had it all tightened up by the end of the day. Highly recommend them. Very honest and professional. Will definitely be using them again!!!

They did such an amazing job on my deck. It’s gorgeous!! Very professional and super fast!! Highly recommend !!!

Our basement needed a full gut and redo after a long time tenant left. John and team were amazing to work with! They walked us through the process every step of the way to keep things on time and moving. They didn’t just do the job but they made sure they did it right the right way, and we love the results. We would recommend them to anyone. Thank you Deck by Vets!

Decks by Vets did an incredible job with our home's structural and electrical renovations. Since my wife and I hadn't moved into the house yet, having someone reliable on-site was crucial. John was there almost every day, managing the entire project and coordinating all the flooring, HVAC, and plumbing contractors seamlessly. The attention to detail in the finish carpentry was also worth every penny. They provided the peace of mind knowing we were getting quality work for our money. We will be using them again for a number of other projects
